The goal was to develop a bespoke set of community shapes that would create a unique, yet cohesive, brand for internal and external global culture initiatives. The Googler Engagement team developed this design system specifically to help ERGs create assets for Heritage Moments such as Pride, Black History, and Latin Heritage. This modular system extends and evolves key elements of the Googler Engagement brand, providing the flexibility to incorporate authentic community expressions, event themes, and custom messaging into their assets. —In addition to developing the comprehensive brand system and design assets, we also established a brand playbook (guidelines) complete with ready-to-use templates (Google Slides and Figma) for the internal ERG teams. This was followed by the completion of a new brand experience at their headquarters in lower Manhattan in 2023. In transforming its new brand identity and visual system, we successfully brought out the big idea of “Making magic for all dogs and their people.” We delivered genuine visual experience by helping people find and see the magic and surprise in dogs' soulful, innocent eyes. The new identity is unapologetic, bold, and distinctive, symbolizing dog-like qualities: honesty, authenticity, and quirkiness. It helps all of us get to BE more dog. For generations, CBD has played a vital role in the well-being of dogs worldwide, and it has been known to provide support and relief for a wide variety of health-related issues. BARK’s brand design team is creating a pop-up by temporarily renting an empty space in the Greenwich Village neighborhood of NYC for three months. Believing approachability as the key to genuine conversation, we delivered a powerful idea that Alta is here to be their client’s advocate and their customer’s sounding board. The brand identity and visual system were rendered with a bespoke logotype with a unique curved – counter of the letter ‘a’. This forms a speech bubble that is interactive, bold, transparent and easy to manage on touchpoints, especially on digital platforms. The rebrand was launched in May 2020.
